Impact measurement: Tere ki Tai

Tere ki Tai, meaning "traversing the tides" is the Amotai buyer maturity matrix. This framework helps organisations navigate their supplier diversity journey, assess their current practices, and set goals for the future.

Inspired by the legacy of waka voyaging, Tere ki Tai uses six tide levels ranging from Tai Mate (stagnant tide) to Tai Āniwhaniwha (tsunami tide), to represent stages of maturity.
