Meet the Buyer Auckland was once again a sold-out event!
Thank you so much to everyone that showed up and contributed to the amazing kōrero last night. It takes a village to bring these events to life.
It was with much anticipation that Amotai could announce our partnership with Waitomo! Thank you to Jimmy Ormsby (Waikato/Tainui) and his team from Waitomo for coming through and constantly showing so much love to our kaupapa of supplier diversity. As the headline sponsor for these Meet the Buyer events, we thank you from the bottom of our Amotai hearts! Register your business as a customer with Waitomo and .5 of a cent of every litre of fuel you buy will support the Amotai supplier diversity movement.
A massive thank you to our buyer stand exhibitors! Meet the Buyer nights wouldn’t be the same without you all! Auckland Council – Procurement, Waste, and Healthy Waters, MoE, CPB, MPTT, Dimeo Facility Services, Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, Ventia, Downer, GHD, and Fulton Hogan!
And to our supplier stand holders! Thank you for such beautiful exhibits and for filling the room with constant kōrero and laughs! Waitomo, Position NZ, GroundPro Ltd, Pasifiki Engineering, Active Safety NZ, Maccas Industry Driver Training, Tū Ātea, PAE, RŌA, Biform, Beyond Soap, RUN, HŪHĀ Music, Sime Group, TE Group, and Wolfgramm!
Thank you so much to Amotai suppliers Go Media and AV Media for bringing Meet the Buyer Tāmaki Makaurau to life.
Go Media for their provision of a wonderful, and free, venue for us all to network! The East Lounge was a stunning venue for Meet the Buyer, and all the pakihi (businesses) are better for it – having a space that was open and ready to be filled with supplier diversity kōrero!
AV Media! Thank you for your stella work on all things audio, visual and on the sound desk! We appreciate your mahi so much.
The Clare Foundation! We thank you for the opportunity for our Hinemoana ladies to come together at the pre-drinks event before all the hustle and bustle of Meet the Buyer got started. We can’t express how much the wāhine-only space meant to our Hinemoana ladies. Ānei rā te mihi nunui.
All of this support that Amotai has felt throughout Meet the Buyer Auckland coming to life is just an embodiment of Pasifika and Māori supporting other Pasifika and Māori. It really does take a village.
A massive shout out as well to Murray Jervis (GHD), Teahooterangi Pihama (RŌA), and to Huia Hamon (HŪHĀ Music) for doing such a great job sharing your passion with us all through your speaking spots on the night.
